Sports Cards Provide Positive Message and Free Vision Game
January 10, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Atlanta Vision News Release
SUWANEE, GA - January 10, 2007 - Atlanta Vision, Atlanta's professional basketball team in Gwinnett released four limited edition sports cards for young Vision fans. Each sport card features an Atlanta Vision action shot with a positive quote representing the following virtues: Respect, Sportsmanship, Responsibility, and Teamwork.
On the back of each card, students will receive a free general admission to any February Atlanta Vision home game with an adult ticket purchase. Kids and basketball fans alike can collect all four and get them autographed at the game.
"Young sport fans can receive positive messages in a fun way and attend a basketball game for free," states Vision co-owner Brian Richey. "How many kids have that experience?"
Vision sport cards are passed out during Vision community appearances and January games. They also can be picked up at selected Vision sponsor locations to be announced at the end of January.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
