Spokenote Named Title Partner for Indy Eleven's New Undrafted Reality Series

INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, April 20, 2023) - Indy Eleven is excited to announce a Corporate Partnership with spokenote that is headlined by the Indy area tech firm serving as the program Title Partner for the debut season of Undrafted, Indy Eleven's new player development-based reality series.

Sixty players from across the country are set for the opportunity to prove their skills throughout the remainder of 2023, all in the hopes of earning a coveted spot in Indy Eleven's 2024 preseason camp starting next February.

As part of the new Corporate Partnership, spokenote will also lend its QR code technology as Indy Eleven's Undrafted Jersey Front Partner, which will allow participants to provide personalized messaging throughout the unique "pathway to the pros" opportunity.

"Partnering with spokenote and their creative staff will provide an inventive outlet for Indy Eleven to tell our stories in new and impactful ways," said Indy Eleven President & CEO Greg Stremlaw. "Undrafted brings an interesting twist to our player development program, and spokenote's technology will introduce an added dimension of engagement to the format that will let fans and viewers be involved every step of the way."

Launched in 2022, spokenote is a Fishers-based technology company that allows its customers to "add video to anything" via printed QR codes and an innovative video sharing platform. Their first-of-its-kind technology is used by consumers and businesses in a broad range of ways: to personalize gifts; to deliver instructions; to enhance direct mail, and more.

"This partnership with Indy Eleven and its Undrafted program is a natural fit for us, and we couldn't be more excited about it," said spokenote CEO John Wechsler. Tryouts for Undrafted, presented by spokenote, are set to take place this Saturday, April 22, at IUPUI Carroll Stadium from 3:00-5:30 p.m. ET, and will extend Indy Eleven's gameday activities leading up to its 7:00 p.m. kickoff against Monterey Bay F.C. Indy Eleven and spokenote kicked off their new partnership in the build-up to the team's April 1 home opener by introducing a "revolutionary jersey technology" that would replace traditional names and numbers on the backs of player jerseys with a spokenote QR code, giving fans the chance to send video messages to their favorite players. The April Fools' Day joke caught the attention of local and national outlets, with social media splashes of the "announcement" resulting in thousands of video views and engagements.

"We had a lot of fun and made a big splash with the events leading up to the home opener, but that was really just the beginning for us," said Wechsler. "We're excited to build upon the momentum throughout the season and with the Undrafted program."

In addition to serving as the Title Partner and Jersey Front Partner of Undrafted, spokenote will be featured via numerous Indy Eleven promotional avenues including, but not limited to: on-field and in-stadium signage, sponsoring of community ticket blocks, and placements on the team's official website, indyeleven.com.
