SPOKANE, WASHINGTON - The Spokane Shock today announced the signing of Christopher Okoye, who formerly signed with the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals after his college career at Ferris State University. The 6'6", 320-pound defensive lineman was an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 1st-Team selection, and was named to the Football Gazette All-American Team.
In his senior year at FSU he led the Bulldogs to their fourth consecutive NCAA Division II play-off appearance and was invited to compete in the College Gridiron Showcase All-Star event. He also was chosen to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for his work both on the field and in the classroom.
