STATE COLLEGE, PA - State College Spikes fans can enjoy a full slate of fun, affordable entertainment with a six-game homestand at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park starting on Wednesday, August 18th.

The Spikes will take on the Jamestown Jammers (Florida Marlins) and Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Cleveland Indians), and fans can enjoy several stellar promotions, including some special appearances and two brilliant FIREWORKS displays.

The Spikes' roster of Daily Fan Value Promotions will also help fans save, beginning with a Half-Price Wednesday, presented by Froggy 101. Fans can get into the park with half-price Outfield Bleacher tickets, then enjoy half-price select domestic draft beers from 6-8 p.m. and half-price medium sodas all game long. 4 for $44 Friday also returns on August 20th, thanks to US Foodservice.

A pair of sensational FIREWORKS displays will also dazzle Spikes fans during the homestand, with the skies lighting up after Friday's 7:05 p.m. matchup against the Jammers thanks to 95.3 FM 3WZ. Snyder's of Hanover will then present another amazing FIREWORKS show on Sunday the 22nd, following the Spikes' 6:05 p.m. game against the Scrappers.

The Spikes will also welcome some very special guests to the park throughout the six-game run. Saturday the 21st, Bellefonte native and former Major League All-Star pitcher Eric Milton will be at the park to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and appear on the GameDay Show before the game.

The homestand culminates with Spikes Wrestling Rumble Night on Monday, August 23rd, when legendary wrestling superstar George "The Animal" Steele brings his unorthodox brand of fun to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Steele (no relation to Spikes pitching coach Mike Steele) will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, appear on the GameDay Show, and participate in several on-field contests.
