Spikes Offer Fans Chance at $25,000 Friday on Winning Inning Night

(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - Friday could be a big payday for State College Spikes fans, with a potential $25,000 grand prize on the line during tonight's 7:05 p.m. game against the Hudson Valley Renegades (Tampa Bay Rays). One lucky fan could win $25,000 on the spot if the Spikes accomplish a predetermined baseball occurrence during the designated inning on $25,000 Winning Inning Night presented by Majic 99 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

Nine (9) contestants will be selected for the evening, with each assigned a specific inning during which they will be eligible for the $25,000 grand prize. If the winning scenario attached to each inning actually happens, that fan will win the grand prize. The scenarios are as follows:

- 1st Inning: Spikes turn a triple play

- 2nd Inning: Spikes hit back-to-back home runs over the fence

- 3rd Inning: Spikes' second baseman has three assists (plays that are scored 4-3, 4-6, etc.)

- 4th Inning: Spikes hit a single, double, triple and home run over the fence in the same inning

- 5th Inning: Spikes' center fielder assists on a play (throws out a runner on the basepaths)

- 6th Inning: Spikes hit a home run off of either the left-field or right-field foul pole

- 7th Inning: Spikes score exactly seven (7) runs in the inning

- 8th Inning: Spikes' pitcher(s) strike out the side on exactly nine (9) pitches

- 9th Inning: Spikes' third baseman has three assists (plays that are scored 5-3, 5-4, etc.)

Each of the nine (9) contestants will sit in the designated "Hot Seat" for the duration of their assigned inning to root for their event to take place. Should the Spikes not accomplish the feat necessary to win the $25,000 grand prize, each contestant will still receive a consolation prize of two (2) seats for a future Spikes game.

Also, in the event that a contestant wins the $25,000 grand prize before the ninth inning, all remaining contestants will still be eligible for a fantastic Spikes prize pack if their assigned events happen in their respective innings.

Plus, all fans will also be able to take advantage of a great deal at the ballpark on 4 for $44 Friday, presented by Majic 99. Purchase four (4) Diamond Club seats, four (4) hot dogs and four (4) small sodas for just $44 (a value of $63). After the game, kids can run the bases at the park thanks to Clinical Outcomes Group, Inc.
