
SPHL Announces Suspensions
March 1, 2016 - SPHL (SPHL) News Release
HUNTERSVILLE, NC (March 1, 2016) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Tuesday announced the following suspensions:
Knoxville's Corey Fulton
Knoxville's Corey Fulton has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 189, Knoxville at Peoria, played on Saturday, February 27.
At the 0:10 mark of the first period, Fulton was assessed a minor penalty for roughing, a minor penalty for instigating, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct for continuing an altercation, his fourth accumulated game misconduct of the season.
Fulton will miss Knoxville's game against Fayetteville on Thursday, March 3.
Macon's Lucas LaBelle
Macon's Lucas LaBelle has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 190, Macon at Louisiana, played on Sunday, February 28.
At the 7:18 mark of the third period, LaBelle was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
LaBelle will miss Macon's game against Columbus on Saturday, March 5.
Pensacola's Ludlow Harris
Pensacola's Ludlow Harris has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 191, Fayetteville at Pensacola, placed on Sunday, February 28.
At the 20:00 mark of the third period, Harris was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
Harris was waived by Pensacola on Monday though his suspension is in effect for Pensacola's game against Peoria on Friday, March 4.
Fayetteville's Josh McQuade
Fayetteville's Josh McQuade has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 191, Fayetteville at Pensacola, placed on Sunday, February 28.
At the 20:00 mark of the third period, McQuade was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for slashing.
McQuade will miss Fayetteville's game against Knoxville on Thursday, March 3.
