
SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspensions:
Columbus' Alex Gallant
Columbus' Alex Gallant has been suspended three games for his actions in Game 114, Columbus at Knoxville, played on Saturday, December 28. Following the conclusion of the game, Gallant was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.8, Fighting Other Than During Periods of the Game.
Gallant will miss Columbus' games against Bloomington (January 3 and 4) and Knoxville (January 10).
Knoxville's Ben Schoeneberger
Knoxville's Ben Schoeneberger has been suspended three games for his actions in Game 114, Columbus at Knoxville, played on Saturday, December 28. Following the conclusion of the game, Schoeneberger was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.8, Fighting Other Than During Periods of the Game.
Schoeneberger sat out Knoxville's game against Fayetteville on January 30 and will miss games against Pensacola on January 3 and 4.
