
SPHL Announces Suspension, Fines

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspension and fines:
Augusta's Dennis Sicard Suspended
Augusta's Dennis Sicard has been suspended for five games as a result of his actions in Game #88, Knoxville at Augusta, on Saturday, December 22.
Sicard was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct for Fighting Other Than During Periods of the Game.
Sicard will miss games against Fayetteville (December 27 and 29), Knoxville (December 28), Pensacola (January 4) and Columbus (January 5).
Pensacola's Gabriel Boutin-Gagnon Fined
Pensacola's Gabriel Boutin-Gagnon has been fined for an incident in Game #89, Pensacola at Fayetteville, on Saturday, December 22.
Augusta's Auffrey, Knoxville's Van Vliet Fined
Augusta's Matt Auffrey and Knoxville's Mark Van Vliet have been fined for their actions at the conclusion of Game #88, Knoxville at Augusta, on Saturday, December 22.
