Special Weekday Promotional Ticket Pricing Announced For Next Week

(LANCASTER, CA) - The Lancaster JetHawks have announced its special promotional Reserved Section ticket pricing for next Tuesday and Wednesday's games as part of the team's weekday promotions.
As part of its tribute to the windy conditions that are prevalent in the Antelope Valley, the JetHawks will discount Reserved Section tickets for all Tuesday home games during the 2008 regular season, based on the wind recording forecasted for each Tuesday home game. It's an annual JetHawks tradition called "Tumbleweed Tuesday".
The wind speed at Clear Channel Stadium next Tuesday, June 17, is forecasted to be approximately 15 MPH, meaning Reserved Section tickets will cost only $1.50 for that night's game against the High Desert Mavericks. Tickets are priced at 10-cents for each MPH of wind recorded.
In addition, as part of the club's Weight Loss Wednesday's, one front office staff member is weighed and fans may purchase specially-priced Reserved Section tickets for only a penny per pound, based upon what the designated person weighs.
This week, intern Ryan McAuliffe weighed in at 175 pounds, meaning Reserved Section tickets for Wednesday, June 18 will be priced at only $1.75.
Fans wishing to purchase Tumbleweed Tuesday or Weight Loss Wednesday's specially priced Reserve Section tickets may do so from now through Monday, June 16. The special ticket offers will not be available on game days at the JetHawks Box Office.
The JetHawks return from its current road trip for a three-game homestand beginning June 16 to kick-off the second half of the 2008 season. The JetHawks are currently tied for first place with five games to go in the first half. Tickets may be purchased in person at Clear Channel Stadium Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM - 3 PM. Tickets may also be ordered online at www.JetHawks.com or by calling 661.726.5400.
