The Tampa Yankees will host their fifth annual Parrothead night sponsored by the St. Joseph's Hospital Federal Credit Union. The team will face the Brevard County Manatees on August 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at George M. Steinbrenner field. The gates will be open to fans and parrot-heads alike at 6:00 p.m.
We are happy to offer $1 sodas, $10 all you can eat chicken wings and 2-for-1 beer and liquor specials on the Tampa Tribune Deck from 6-8:00 p.m.
The first 250 fans will receive a free Tampa Yankees seat cushion to help you watch the Yanks in style and comfort.
Save the Manatees and Florida Parrot Rescue will both be present to accept donations and raffle off exclusive items.
It is also Facebook Friday, so any fan who "likes" the Tampa Yankees on Facebook gets $2 admission with the secret keyword posted on the team's page. Tickets start at just $4 per person and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office. Group rates are also available.
