
Sox Sign OF Brian Wuest

The Amarillo Sox have signed outfielder Brian Wuest to a contract for the 2014 season. Wuest appeared in 14 games with the Lincoln Saltdogs, hitting .200 with four doubles and five RBI.
Wuest played his college ball at Division II Nebraska-Kearney. In his 2013 senior season, he led the Antelopes in batting average (.397), slugging percentage (.821), on-base percentage (.533), RBI (64), and home runs (15). His on-base percentage, home run, and RBI totals all ranked in the top five in Division II baseball in 2013.
