Lemurs to Host Open Tryouts Saturday, February 1st at 10:00am

Laredo, TX - So you think you can play professional baseball? Well now you have your shot. The Laredo Lemurs will be hosting open tryouts on Saturday, February 1st at 10:00am at the Uni-Trade Stadium field in Laredo. Players interested in trying out must arrive no later than 9:30am to register for the tryouts. On-site registration will begin at 8:30am on the Uni-Trade Stadium playing field. Players interested in pre-registering may do so by calling the Lemurs front office at 956 7LEMURS. There is a $50.00 registration fee for players.

Players making the team will be part of the 2014 Laredo Lemurs. The Lemurs will begin their third season of play in the American Association under the leadership of former Texas Rangers and Houston Astros player Pete Incaviglia. The Lemurs open up their 2014 campaign on Thursday, May 15th at 7:30pn against the 2013 Northern Division champion Fargo-Morehead Redhawks for a four-game series. The Lemurs will finish out the opening homestand against the 2013 League Champion Winnipeg Goldeyes.
