
Sox manager signs for 2014

AMARILLO, TX - Bobby Brown has been named the Sox field manager for the 2014 season. Leading the Sox to a 52-48 record in 2013, Brown coached Amarillo to their first winning season in three years in the American Association. He hopes to continue the success next year.
The Sox general manager, Mark Lee is looking forward to Brown coaching for Amarillo again. Lee said this about Brown, "Bobby did a great job, put a good team on the field, and has a great nucleus for next year." Brown helped produce the 2013 Rookie of the Year, Joe Weik, and an All-Star outfielder in Chris Valencia.
The former University of Oklahoma player will begin his third consecutive season as a head coach this upcoming year.
