
Sounders FC Hosts Orlando City SC in Annual Pride Match on Saturday Night at Lumen Field

SEATTLE, WASH. - Following a 1-0 loss at LAFC on Wednesday, Seattle Sounders FC returns home to take on Orlando City SC on Saturday, June 24 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV - Watch Free, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Seattle currently sits in third place in the Western Conference with 28 points, one point behind second-place St. Louis CITY SC and four points behind first-place LAFC.
The match marks the Rave Green's annual Pride Match, presented by Starbucks, which features a variety of special matchday activities celebrating inclusion as Sounders FC reaffirms its commitment to Stand for LGBTQ+ Equality, one of the four main tenets of the club's Social Justice Framework .
Since Orlando joined MLS in 2015 as an expansion side, Seattle leads the series with a 4-1-1 record. Saturday's match marks the second time these two teams have faced off in the last two years, with Orlando defeating Seattle 3-2 at Exploria Stadium on August 31, 2022.
Following Saturday's match, the club remains home against Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, July 1 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
