LOS ANGELES - Continuing their 2023 MLS Regular Season campaign, the LA Galaxy travel to face the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park tonight, Saturday, June 24 (6:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Saturday's match marks the 93rd all-time meeting across all competitions between the LA Galaxy and the Colorado Rapids, with LA leading the series 46-34-12. Against the Rapids, the Galaxy hold a 38-32-12 record in league play, a 1-0-0 record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and a 7-2-0 record in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. In 40 all-time regular-season meetings played on the road against Colorado, LA holds a 13-21-6 record. In the first match played between the two teams during the 2023 campaign, the Galaxy fell 3-1 to the Rapids at Dignity Health Sports Park on May 6, with Preston Judd recording his first goal for the club in the loss to Colorado. The last time LA earned a win on the road against Colorado, the Galaxy defeated the Rapids 3-1 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on June 21, 2017. The Galaxy enter tonight's match against Colorado following a 2-2 against Sporting Kansas City at Dignity Health Sports Park on June 21. Martín Cáceres and Judd both scored goals, while Riqui Puig, Douglas Costa and Raheem Edwards each recorded assists as LA extended its unbeaten run to three matches in league play (1-0-2; 5 GF, 4 GA) dating back to May 31.
