Soul to Hold Dance Team Tryouts

Who/What: The Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League will be holding their first of two dance team auditions for the "Borgata Philadelphia Soulmates".
When: Sunday, November 23rd
Registration: 10:00 a.m. â 11:00 a.m.
Jon Bon Jovi and Craig A. Spencer Appearance: 11:00 a.m. â 11:30 a.m.
Tryout: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa

Atlantic City, NJ 08401
Background: All participants must be 18 years of age or older by the date of the tryout (please bring a photo ID). There will be a registration fee of $40. Participants will be taught a routine and do not need to prepare one. Participants are asked to wear appropriate dance shoes and attire (no baggy clothes). Soulmates will be judged on dance ability, appearance, personality and attitude. There will be a break for lunch, but it will not be provided.
"Soulmates," will be required to attend all eight of the Philadelphia Soul's home games. Practice will be held every Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Roseann Bruna School of Dance beginning in December and running through the end of the season. "Soulmates" will also be required to attend some community appearances on behalf of the Philadelphia Soul.
The first 200 participants will receive an autographed copy of Bon Jovi's newest CD: "This Left Feels Right."
The second date will be Sunday, November 30th at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia at 10:00 a.m. The final audition, for those invited to call backs, will be held on December 2nd at the Roseann Bruna School of Dance in Mantua, NJ at 6:30 p.m. Attendance at only one of the dates is necessary to be invited back for the finals. Those who wish to attend both first round dates may also do so, but will need to purchase tickets for both events.
The Philadelphia Soul will kick off their inaugural season this February 8th on NBC Sports against the expansion New Orleans Voodoo at the Wachovia Center. Season ticket plans are on sale now and can be purchased for as low as $80. For more information on season tickets call 1-888-PHIL-AFL.
