Soul Add Four Free Agents to Roster

The Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League has announced the signing of four AFL free agents, offensive/defensive linemen Michael Harrison and Nate Bell, fullback/linebacker Chris Ryan and defensive specialist Travis Seaton.

Harrison, a seven-year veteran of the AFL and Camden, NJ native, most recently completed a stint with the Carolina Cobras of the AFL after appearing with the Texas Terror (1997), Houston ThunderBears (1998-2000), Florida Bobcats (2001) and Toronto Phantoms (2002). Harrison has amassed 56.5 tackles, six sacks, three forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and two pass breakups throughout his AFL career. A three-year starter at North Carolina State, Harrison totaled 146 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, six sacks and 17 QB hurries in his collegiate career. Harrison earned "Blue Chip Illustrated" Third Team All-American honors while at Camden High.

Bell has recorded 25 tackles as well as six pass breakups over three seasons with the New York Dragons. In 1999, Bell was named a Division I-AA All-American at defensive end for Southern University.

Ryan was named to the AFL's All-Ironman Team in 2002 after leading the Grand Rapids Rampage in rushing for the third consecutive season. Ryan also added 25 tackles, a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery. Last season Ryan had eight rushing attempts for 44 yards and two touchdowns.

Seaton played two games for the San Jose SaberCats in 2002 but was lost prior to the 2003 season when he suffered a broken left fibula during a preseason scrimmage against the Grand Rapids Rampage.
