Soul QB Tony Graziani named Offensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA -The Arena Football League announced today that Philadelphia Soul quarterback Tony Graziani was named as the League's Offensive Player of the Week following his performance against the Colorado Crush.

Graziani (6'3", 215, Oregon) has helped lead the Soul to its first 3-0 start in franchise history and against the Crush was the first time this season he played the whole game. After sitting out during the fourth quarters against Nashville in Week 2 and Grand Rapids in Week 3, he finished the game against Colorado completing 21-of-31 for 313 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions. He also had a quarterback rating of 140 and his nine touchdowns set a franchise record. On the season, Graziani has completed 51-of-75 for 745 yards with 19 touchdowns despite one interception.

Along with Graziani, other players receiving league recognition for their play in Week 4 were Will Pettis of the Dallas Desperados, who was named Ironman of the Week and Nashville's Ahmad Hawkins, who was named ADT Defensive Player of the Week.
