Philadelphia Soul News Release

PHILADELPHIA (Thursday, May 15) - The Philadelphia Soul have placed wide receiver Kenny Henderson on injured reserve with a broken collarbone.

Henderson suffered the injury on a touchdown catch with 12:17 left in the third quarter of Monday night's 63-62 loss to the Georgia Force. He finished the game with eight catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

The game was Henderson's first since returning off the injured reserve with the same injury. He initially suffered a fractured right collarbone in the season-opener against Orlando when with nine seconds left in the second quarter he landed awkwardly on his shoulder during a touchdown catch.

Henderson's season ends with 10 receptions for 122 yards with three touchdowns. He came to the Soul in the offseason after posting 75 catches for 895 yards with 18 touchdowns in his rookie season with New Orleans last year.
