Sorenson to Appear at PrairieThunder Game

Reed Sorenson, who recently completed his rookie season in the NASCAR Cup series, will meet fans and sign autographs prior to the Bloomington PrairieThunder game Jan. 24 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Sorenson, who drives the No. 41 Target Dodge for the Chip Ganassi racing team, will sign autographs from 6 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. in the Party deck area behind Section 108 on the Party Suite level.

The 20-year-old Sorenson, who is sponsored in part on the NASCAR circuit by State Farm Insurance, finished third among rookies in the Cup standings and 24th overall. He started all 36 races, finishing in the top 5 once and the top 10 on five occasions.

Sorenson also competed in the NASCAR Busch Series and finished 10th in the overall standings. He started 34 races, finishing among the top 5 on five occasions and in the top 10 on 14 occasions.

The PrairieThunder meets the Fort Wayne Komets on Jan. 24 in a 7:05 p.m. Western Conference game in the United Hockey League.
