Soo Eagles Travel to Flint

The Soo Eagles will travel down I-75 once again this weekend, this time making a stop in Flint, where they will face the Michigan Warriors, on Friday and Saturday at the Perani Arena and Event Center. Game time is 7 p.m. both nights, and you can catch the action live or on-demand, at www.fasthockey.com.

The Eagles currently sit in fifth place in the North American Hockey League's North Division (7-9-4) and are five points behind Michigan (9-4-6), who resides in second place.

The Eagles are led in scoring by forward Ryan Urso, who has four goals and 9 assists this season. AJ Jarosz is (3-9- 12) and Jacob McDowell is (8-4- 12).

The Warriors are led is scoring by Jake Hopfner who has 9 goals and eight assists this season. Alec Pellegrino is (5-6- 11) and Zach Szajner is (2-9- 11).

Soo Eagles goaltender Colin Brennan, carries a 4-3-1-2 record into this weekend's series, with a goals against average of 2.64 and a save percentage of .919. Paige Skoog is 3-6-0-1 with a GAA of 2.45 and a SVP of .926.

Dillon Kelley is 5-3-1-1 in net for Michigan, with a goals against average of 2.46 and a save percentage of .898. Trevor Gorsuch is 4-1-1-3, with a GAA of 2.47 and a SVP of .918.

This is the first of 12 meetings this season between the Eagles and the Warriors. These teams will square off at Pullar Stadium on Wednesday, November 20.
