Soo Eagles News Release
The Soo Eagles organization was recently named as February's winner of the Recognition Spotlight by the United Way Volunteer Center of the Eastern Upper Peninsula. They were nominated and selected, for the countless projects their players and staff volunteer for, that have an impact on Sault Ste Marie, and the surrounding community.
The United Way Volunteer Center is continually reaching into the community to promote volunteerism in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. One method of doing this has been the Recognition Spotlight that honors a special individual or group that has been spreading goodwill in the community. They also honor area businesses that promote community engagement within their workplace through our Business Neighbor award.ÃÂ All nominees are kept in the pool for 6 months and the nomination year runs from April to March.
