
Somerset Patriots Sign Pitcher Josh Brey

Bridgewater, NJ - The Three-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced the signing of left-handed pitcher Josh Brey.
Brey has experience in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, with three seasons at the Single-A level.
Brey spent the 2007 season with the New Jersey Jackals of the Can-Am League and finished with a 4.26 in 105.2 innings pitched in 19 games, all as a starter.
He has a minor league career 20-21 record, a 3.90 ERA, and 228 strikeouts in 362.2 innings pitched in 94 games.
Brey has been activated for Tuesday night's game against the Lancaster Barnstormers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The 2008 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on the road until Friday, May 16th when the Patriots return to Commerce Bank Ballpark for a 7:05 pm game against the Newark Bears. The game will include a Post Game Fireworks Show presented by Staffing Alternatives.
