San Diego Sockers News Release

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The San Diego Sockers announce the signing of an agreement with Gatorz Precision Tuned Eyewear for the 2004-05 Major Indoor Soccer League season. The agreement provides the Sockers with their own "official" eyewear as they look to win a record 11 indoor soccer titles.

"Gatorz is very excited and optimistic about the future of the partnership with the Sockers, and look forward to growing together within the community, " explained Michael Lozano, Marketing Director of Gatorz.

Gatorz Eyewear is quickly becoming the leader in sports eyewear, particularly with extreme sports athletes, including racecar driver Michael Andretti. The San Diego-based company takes pride in the fact that their eyewear combines strength with lightweight technology to produce an outstanding pair of sunglasses. In addition, each pair of glasses is manufactured in San Diego. The Sockers are the first professional sports team to sign with Gatorz Eyewear, although a number of professional teams are expected to follow the Sockers' lead.
