Sockers Midfielder Brian Farber Named PASL Player of the Week

Sockers midfielder Brian Farber has been named PASL Player of the Week after scoring five goals with an assist in San Diego's 12-7 win over Toros de Mexico on Sunday in Tijuana. Farber's fourth PASL five-goal game featured him scoring short handed, on the power play, and even strength goals in both 5v5 and 4v4 situations. Farber has twelve goals and fifteen points in nine games on the season.
The four-time defending champion Sockers (7-2) have now won seven straight and face Las Vegas (8-1) in a Pacific Division showdown Saturday night at the Valley View Casino Center. Tickets are available by calling (866) 799-GOAL or online at www.sockers.com.
