Snowbears Roll to 18th Straight Win

Salt Lake City, UT. Utah's big three of Harold Arceneaux, Clay Tucker and Tyrone Hayes combined for 61 points and 21 rebounds to lead the undefeated Utah Snowbears to a 124-87 win at home over the Los Angeles Stars. The Stars started well running out to a 20-12 lead early behind Darwin Carter and Dion Bailey, but Clay Tucker dropped 8 straight points while Arceneaux added 6 to allow Utah to hold a 33-26 lead at the end of one quarter.

Tyrone Hayes led the Utah charge to a 31-14 second quarter margin as the Snowbears quite simply ran away from the Stars. Curtis Millage quarterbacked the Utah second five to easy layups and a 64-40 halftime lead.

Utah outrebounded the Stars 54-28 with Babacar Camara leading the way with 9 rebounds to pace five Snowbears with at least 7. the big three added 14 points while Dino Turner and Jared Ramirez combined for a 9-0 run and Utah extended its lead to 94-56 coasting to the win.

Darwin Carter led the Stars with 24 while Rock Lloyd added 17. Arceneaux led Utah with 22 and Hayes and Tucker added 20 and 19 respectively.
