The Explosion did not give up and Devon Greene had a chance to tie the game at 90-90 with 1:30 left in the third quarter but struggled from the free throw line missing both shot and the Slam went on a 10-2 run in the final minutes to end the third quarter with the largest lead of the game with a 102-92.

The Slam jumped out in the fourth quarter on a 9-2 run and the Explosion biggest struggles were not coming from the Slam but themselves in the form of turnovers, foul trouble and missed jumpers. The Explosion called their one and final timeout with 5:23 left in the game with the score being 118-103.

After the time though the Slam continued to work the ball through the guards and time elapsed without the Explosion getting a chance to get back in the game.
