Explosion Bring Back Sean Keck As GM For The 2010 Season

Courtyard Media Foundation, the parent company of the Snohomish County Explosion, President Nathan Mumm announced today that the team has brought back Sean Keck as the General Manager of the Explosion for the 2010 season. Keck will continue in the same capacity as he did last year and has already met with key staff. First on the agenda, will be the most important decision of who will be the Head Coach for 2010.

"Sean did a great job last year for our organization," said Mumm. "Keck was instrumental in his first season with the Explosion, and made the choice to bring back Richard Ford for the post season run. This was key and helped the Explosion finish as one of the top 4 teams in the IBL last season.

"The Explosion is one of the top organizations in minor league basketball, with a passionate fan base and a legacy of success," said Keck. "I am very excited for the chance to be a top team in the new league this season. The NABL is going to be much tougher than the IBL last year, Salem already has a great team practicing so we need to start try-outs soon. My base of experience from last year provides us a good perspective toward the common goal of everyone who works for the Explosion, winning a championship for the fans of Snohomish County."

Prior to his time with the Explosion, Keck worked as a Head Coach for two years and was a graduate in 1993 from Mariner High School. Sean has been a Washingtonian native all of this life and grew up in Shelton.
