Sliders Games Cancelled on Tuesday

Springfield, IL--Robin Roberts StadiumSpringfield Sliders doubleheader with Dubois County Bomberswas cancelled due to heavy rain that moved through the area on Tuesday evening.
Sliders and Bombers were in the fifth inning of the first seven inning game when the heavy rains started, score was tied at 1. Sliders and Bombers were scheduled to play the regular scheduledgame at 6:35 and that was cancelled also and will not be made up due to no more meetings this season with Dubois. Sliders will finish game one that was started on Tuesday at 5:00PM Wednesday and pick up in the fifth and play seven innings.
Sliders will play their regular scheduled game with Dubois starting at 6:35 andwill be nine innings.
First 500 fans will receive a Danny Cox Bobblehead.
