Sliders Announce Upcoming Promotions

The Springfield Sliders have teamed up with Knight's Action Park to give away free water park passes to all fans ages 12 and under who attend the Sliders game on Friday, June 7th.
The passes are valid for the Caribbean Adventures Water Park at Knight's Action Park through August 24th. In order to receive a free pass children 12 and under must purchase a valid full priced child's Sliders ticket (no discounted or courtesy tickets will be accepted) at the redemption booth inside the stadium.
"This is certainly one of the more popular promotions of the summer and we are very excited that Knight's Action Park has partnered with us to make this summer in Springfield an extra fun one," said Bill Hill, Director of Community Relations for the Sliders. "This is just one of many huge promotional events that we have planned for the season and we're looking forward to an entire summer of fun."
Other promotional highlights of the Sliders summer season include two more fireworks shows on June 28th and July 5th as well as appearances by national touring acts Myron Noodleman (July 12th) and the ZOOperstars! (July 26th). The Sliders will also be playing an exhibition game against the U.S. Military All-Stars on July 11th during the U.S. Military's Red, White and Blue Tour across America presented by the U.S. Army and have invited Emmy award winning comedian and entertainer Taylor Mason to perform on Sunday, July 14th during the Sliders Faith and Family Night presented by WLUJ radio.
"I don't think we have ever put together such an aggressive promotional schedule before and we are thrilled about each of these events. We can't wait to see people coming out to the ballpark to have a good family friendly entertainment experience. And let's not forget about the quality baseball being played," said Hill.
