Slam to participate in National Kids Day

Bellingham, WA. The ABA Bellingham Slam professional basketball team is proud to announce its involvement in the Fifth Annual National Kids Day, a nationwide event which takes place each year during the first weekend in August. Events this year will take place in communities across the country from Friday, August 5th to Sunday, August 7th, providing children and families with a variety of fun and free activities. Nationwide, more than 500,000 children are expected to participate in over 1,300 events.

In Bellingham, the Slam will take part in the 16th Annual Bellingham Kids' Fest on Saturday, August 6th at Civic Field. The event will run from 11am to 3pm and is open to all children ages 12 and under. The variety of activities include musicians, entertainers, face painting, games, prize raffles and more. The Slam will be running a hoop shoot game where kids can win exciting prizes. The entire event is free!
