Skyrockets prepare for playoffs with weekend wins

San Francisco, CA. The #3-ranked San Jose Skyrockets (28-5) took on the San Francisco Pilots at Kezar Pavilion in the second game of a weekend series as they prepared for the upcoming ABA playoffs - and came away with two wins - 126-95 on Friday and 133-110 on Saturday. Saturday's game got close as the Pilots came within four points in the third quarter 87-83 but with clutch baskets and key defensive plays, the Skyrockets ultimately pulled away for the win.

The Skyrockets will play in the second round of the ABA Playoffs on March 18 at 5pm at Leavey Center at Santa Clara University. A victory there will send them to Rochester, NY for The Great Eight - the ABA Championship Playoffs.
