Fans will also be able to sign-up for season tickets for the 2008-09 season and register for the summer camps. The Junior Skyrockets Camps this summer are specifically designed to improve shooting, develop passing skills, and expand ball-handling techniques. The camp also focuses on defensive techniques such as rebounding, blocking out, and applying pressure. The coaches use various games and competitions, as well as individual instruction, to improve all areas of your game. There are 3 general camps that will be held this summer (based on the grade entering in the fall):

May 27 - 29: Grades K - 3

June 9 - 13: Grades 4 - 12

July 7 - 11: Grades 4 - 12

The Skyrockets will also feature a Parent & Child Camp on June 20 & 21. This camp will work on basic basketball skills, but will also include various skill challenges and competitions between parents and children. There will also be a two-on-two tournament for the parent/child teams. Two parents will have the unique opportunity to play a game against the camp coaches.

More details on the camps and season tickets will be available at the Autograph Event this weekend at Dakota Square Mall. For more information, call the Skyrockets office at 839-SLAM.
