SIOUX FALLS, SD - The NBA Development League announced today that the Sioux Falls Skyforce coaching staff qualified to lead the Eastern Conference All-Star team next month in Toronto by way of owning the best record (21-4) in the East. It's the first All-Star coaching nomination for the Skyforce since joining the NBA D-League.

"Congratulations to Coach Craig and his staff for earning the privilege to represent the Skyforce at All-Star Weekend," said Miami HEAT Assistant General Manager/Skyforce General Manager Adam Simon. "We're excited to have our staff be recognized for the great work and success they've accomplished over the first half of this season."

The Skyforce's current 21-4 record marks the best start in NBA D-League history. Sioux Falls won 10 consecutive games from December 18 to January 12, the longest win streak in the D-League this season, and is currently riding a 10-game home winning streak, the most consecutive wins at home in a single season since the 1997-98 season. The Skyforce have held opponents to less than 50 percent shooting in all 25 games so far this season and are currently 15-0 when scoring at least 100 points.

Craig was named Coach of the Month in December after guiding the Skyforce to a 9-1 record during the month, with six of those nine wins coming by 10-plus points. DeAndre Liggins (Dec. 21 - Dec. 27) and Miami HEAT assignee Jarnell Stokes (Dec. 28 - Jan. 3) earned back-to-back Performer of the Week honors after leading Sioux Falls to perfect 3-0 weeks.

"It's an honor to represent the Skyforce, the HEAT, the Heineman family and the Skyforce fans at the 2016 All-Star Game," said Skyforce head coach Dan Craig. "I am proud of the players and how they have been selfless with their approach and how they continue to build championship habits that have helped us lay down a successful foundation for the first part of our season. I am looking forward to continuing to get better as a staff and a team moving forward."

The Skyforce were also crowned champions at the NBA D-League Showcase earlier this month. HEAT assignees Josh Richardson (First Team) and Stokes (Second Team) were All-NBA D-League Showcase selections. The duo combined for 50 points in the Skyforce's 102-98 victory over Raptors 905 on Jan. 7 and then each added a team-high 21 points in a 102-81 defeat of the hosting Santa Cruz Warriors on Jan. 9.

The Austin Spurs' (16-8) coaching staff will head the Western Conference squad. The game will air live on Saturday, February 13 on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada at 2:00 p.m. ET from Toronto's Ricoh Coliseum.
