
Skyforce Acquires Withers

Sioux Falls, S.D. (March 17, 2012) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired forward Curtis Withers from the available player pool. He is expected to join the team on Monday. The active roster now stands at 10 players.
Withers holds NBA Development League career averages of 10.1 points and 6.6 rebounds in 82 games (44 starts) with the Dakota Wizards. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 32 games (15 starts) for Dakota this season before being waived on March 13. The 6-8, 230-pound forward was named to the NBA D-League Select Team, which competed in the 2010 NBA Summer League, after averaging 11.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in 50 games (29 starts) in 2009-10. He was originally selected by Dakota in the first round (11th overall) of the 2009 NBA D-League Draft.
