
SkyChiefs Team Up with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

The Syracuse SkyChiefs are proud to announce today a special promotion to benefit the Central New York Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Beginning Friday, June 27, the SkyChiefs will offer special limited edition autograph glossy color photographs featuring SkyChiefs pitcher SCOTT CASSIDY. CASSIDY, a Liverpool HS and LeMoyne College baseball stand out, is inflicted with Juvenile Diabetes. The photo, featuring the caption "Diabetes hasn't slowed me down" will be available for purchase while supplies last at the SkyChiefs souvenir store with a minimum donation of $5 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
On June 27, CASSIDY will on the main concourse from 6:00-7:00 PM signing photos. Scott and several of the SkyChiefs players' wives will be on hand throughout the game selling the photographs. In addition to the 8" x 10" full color glossy photos, the SkyChiefs will also be raffling off chances to win a special 11" x 17" framed poster of the Scott Cassidy/Juvenile Diabetes "Diabetes hasn't slowed me down" photo for just $1 per chance.
All proceeds from the sale of these photos will go directly to the CNY Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
