Sky Blue FC Announces June 28th Match as Pride Night

Morristown, N.J. (Monday, June 15, 2015) - Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) officially announced today that it will be hosting a Pride Night on Sunday, June 28th, when the New Jersey side hosts the Chicago Red Stars.

"We are very pleased to announce June 28th as our Pride Night," said Tony Novo, Sky Blue FC President & General Manager. "With June being National Pride Month, we wanted to cap off the month with our own Pride Night to show our support and awareness. We would also like to thank Out in New Jersey for their assistance in helping us to get the word out about our event."

Sky Blue FC Pride Night will be held at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University on June 28th. Kickoff against the Chicago Red Stars is slated for 6:00 PM, and gates for the match will open an hour beforehand at 5:00 PM. Individual game tickets for the game are on sale now and can be purchased online or by calling 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849).

T-shirts supporting Sky Blue FC Pride Night (pictured above) will also be on sale at Yurcak Field at the game and while supplies last. Cost per t-shirt will be $20. Anyone who is interested in pre-ordering a t-shirt can do so by calling 888-SBFC-TIX (888-723-2849).

The National Women's Soccer League is currently taking a break for the Group Stage of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Sky Blue FC will resume play when it returns home to Yurcak Field on June 28th to host the Chicago Red Stars.
