SUGAR LAND, Texas --- The Sugar Land Skeeters, the Houston area's minor league baseball team, today announced three new hires in its sales staff.

Veteran sports salesmen Anthony Druilhet and Clarence Estes both joined the Skeeters this summer bringing over 30 years of revenue-generating experience to the franchise, while Alysse Day was promoted to sales after originally joining the ballclub last fall to run the Skeeters Pro Shop.

Druilhet arrived from Fox Sports Houston, where he spent almost two years as an Account Manager. Prior to Fox Sports, Druilhet spent six years as a Senior Account Executive at Radio One in Houston, generating advertising sales for KMJQ-FM. Druilhet also worked for Clear Channel in both Houston and Baton Rouge as a Senior Account Executive, as well as Director of Sales for Citadel Broadcasting and both National and Local Sales Manager for Gulfstar Communications both in Baton Rouge.

As for Estes, he came to Sugar Land after spending one year as Assistant Director, Sponsorship Sales with the Houston Astros, assisting with brand development, sponsorship and advertising revenues. Before landing with the Astros, Estes spent almost five years as a Senior Account Executive with SportsTalk 790 in Houston. While with KBME-AM, Estes' primary role was to create, develop, manage, grow, and recap the marketing and advertising plan of local and national radio advertisers for the Houston market.

Day started with the Skeeters in November, 2010, serving as the Retail Manager for the Skeeters Pro Shop. Day helped launch both the retail store at 16160 City Walk in the Sugar Land Town Center as well as the online store at www.SugarLandSkeeters.com. She was recently promoted to her new role Sales Coordinator, where she will assist in targeting revenue sources for the Sugar Land franchise.
