Mississippi Surge News Release
Fans will have a chance to take the ice with the Mississippi Surge on the eve of the team's opening game.
In conjunction with the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, the Surge is hosting a "Skate with the Surge Night" Friday at 6:30 p.m. In addition to being able to skate with Surge players, fans will also be able to take a tour of the Surge locker room.
Cost for the 90 minute session is $10 which includes skate rentals, however skate sizes aren't guaranteed. The session is limited to the first two hundred skaters.
In addition, fans will have the chance to see which seats are available for purchase still for season tickets. Limited Surge merchandise will also be available.
The Surge will begin its fourth season of play in the SPHL on Saturday October 27th at home against the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Once again, this season, the Surge will have 28 home games at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
Season tickets for the 2012-13 Surge season are on sale now. The team is also holding a jersey sale, with several jerseys, including game worn jerseys, available at bargain prices. For more information call 228-594-3800 or log onto www.mssurge.com.
