
Sizziling Summer Begins with "Summer Smash" Mixed Martial Arts Showcase

MUSKEGON, Michigan (June 12th) - The L.C. Walk er Arena is excited to bring another action-packed night of Mixed Martial Arts combat downtown as the Muskegon HeadBusters make their first-ever appearance to the lakeshore's arena and event center in presenting their "Summer Smash" showcase happening on Saturday, June 28th at 7:00 pm located inside the L.C. Walker Arena Annex.
"We are pleased to be hosting another growing MMA organization that is located in close proximity to our event center that will showcase aggressive, skilled, and athletic MMA competitors that live, work, and play in West Michigan," shared L.C. Walker Arena and Muskegon Lumberjacks Vice President Rob Murphy. "The Muskegon HeadBusters are an up-and-coming sports entertainment company seeking to grow their brand in the West Michigan area, and we are pleased to host "Summer Smash" at the L.C. Walker Annex on June 28th!"
The "Summer Smash" card consists of numerous clashes at various weight classes including a pair of bouts at the 155 weight class featuring a rematch between Travis Reeder and Aaron Daniell along with a Number One Contender's match with Dustin Dann squaring off against Christian Abrams. Additional bouts consist of Exiled MMA's Owner and President Tony Sterk going up against Muskegon HeadBusters' own Jacob Berghuis and a 120-pound female match with Samantha Batshon in opposition to Precious Bucannon.
Tickets for "Summer Smash" are on sale at the L.C. Walker Arena Box Office or can be purchased at the Muskegon HeadBusters Gym located on Palmer Avenue. For more information on the event or to purchase your tickets, you can stop by the L.C. Walker Arena box office during the normal business hours of 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday or call (231) 724-5225. Doors will open an hour before the start of the event at 6:00 pm.
