LANCASTER, Calif. - After playing catch-up through the first four innings, the JetHawks rode a three-run rally in the sixth inning to a 9-4 victory over the High Desert Mavericks on Thursday night at The Hangar.

Kevin Comer allowed two runs in both of his first two innings of work but recovered to hold the Mavericks (58-49) scoreless over his final three innings. Tandem starter Austin Chrismon (5-2) tossed four scoreless innings for the JetHawks (55-55), allowing just two hits and striking out four.

Marc Wik went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs for Lancaster. An eighth-inning single extended James Ramsay's hitting streak to 13 games, and a first-inning home run gave J.D. Davis a homer in his third consecutive game.

With runners on first and second, Jamie Ritchie delivered a go-ahead RBI-double to center field off David Ledbetter (1-9) to break a 4-4 tie for the JetHawks in the bottom of the sixth inning. Ritchie would score on a Chase McDonald sacrifice fly, and Wik added a RBI-bunt single against reliever Felix Carvallo.

After the Mavericks retook the lead in the second on a two-run single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa, a Wik RBI-triple brought the JetHawks within one run.

Lancaster tied the score in the bottom of the fourth, as Wik singled to left field to score Mott Hyde from second.

After having taken the lead in the sixth, the JetHawks added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth on Ramsay's two-run single to right field off Dakota Watts.
