
Six ABA players among Top 20 minor leaguers

Indianapolis, IN. Six ABA players are among the 20 top minor league professional basketball players in the latest selections made by Sam Amico of ProBasketballNews.com with the Minnesota Ripknees Jamel Staton selected as the second best player. The others include:
Curtis Haywood, Arkansas Aeros
Donnie Beacham, Texas Tycoons
Rob Sanders, Cape Cod Frenzy
Lazarus Sims, Rochester RazorSharks
Billy Knight, Hollywood Fame
"We are very proud of these players; they're all outstanding and certainly deserve the recognition," stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. "I really hope that the NBA will take a closer look. These guys can help some of the teams there. And Sam, thank you for recognizing the outstanding ABA talent."
