
Sioux Falls' Williams Named Player Of The Month

NEW YORK, March 1, 2010 - Reggie Williams of the Sioux Falls Skyforce has been named NBA Development League Player of the Month for games played in February. The honor is the first of Williams' career and the first for the Skyforce this season.
In nine games for the Skyforce, the 6-6 forward out of Virginia Military Academy averaged 28.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 60 percent (81-of-134) from the field and leading Sioux Falls to an 8-1 record. During the month, Williams scored in double figures in all nine games, including scoring a Skyforce season-high 43 points on Feb. 5 when the Skyforce defeated the Idaho Stampede 116-112. A sharp shooter, Williams connected on 44 percent (17-of-39) of his three-pointers in March.
Also receiving consideration for NBA D-League Player of the Month honors for Reno's Rod Benson; Rio Grande Valley's Will Conroy, Bakersfield's Brian Butch, Reno's Desmon Farmer, Austin's Alonzo Gee, Rio Grande Valley's Mike Harris, Sioux Falls' Alexander Johnson, Austin's Dwayne Jones, Fort Wayne's Rob Kurz, and Idaho's Donell Taylor.
