Next Home Game: Sioux Falls' fourth home game will be Saturday May 21, 2005, against the Evansville Bluecats with a 7:05 PM kickoff, with the doors opening at 6:00 PM. The game sponsor will be Old Chicago and the American Red Cross will be the non-profit sponsor for the night. The theme for the night will be "Armed Forces Night," with Mitchell, SD being the featured community. The first 2,000 fans in the door will receive "Storm Dog Tags."
Coaching Change: The Black Hills Red Dogs announced on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 that Head Coach/General Manager Damon Ware was relieved of his duties with the team. The Red Dogs are currently winless on the year and are looking to make a positive change for the remainder of the season. Red Dog's assistant Coach Dick Lemke will take over as interim Head Coach for the remaining 8 games. Coach Lemke has previously had Offensive Line and Special Teams duties with the Red Dogs.
