
Sioux Falls' Larry Drew Named NBA Development League Performer of the Week

NEW YORK, Dec. 29, 2014 - Sioux Falls Skyforce guard Larry Drew was today named the NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Dec. 22 - Sunday, Dec. 28. This is the first Performer of the Week honor of Drew's NBA D-League career.
Drew (6-2, 180, UCLA) helped Sioux Falls to a 2-0 week and set an NBA D-League record for most assists in a game with 23, in a 135-129 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Dec. 25. He averaged 17.5 assists for the week, to go along with 15.0 points on .684 shooting (13-for-19), and connected on all three of his three-point attempts.
This season, Drew is averaging 11.3 points, 11.1 assists (second in the league) and 38.9 minutes (fourth in the league) through 15 games.
Other top performers considered included Austin's JaMychal Green, Grand Rapids' Willie Reed, Oklahoma City's Talib Zanna and Reno's Jordan Hamilton.
