SINGLETON NAMED CFL PLAYER OF THE MONTH Calgary Stampeders middle linebacker Alex Singleton has been named the CFL's top player of the month for September. In the Labour Day Classic against the Edmonton Eskimos, Singleton tied the franchise single-game record by recording 13 tackles.
