NORWICH, CT Can you sing? Do you belt out the "Stars Spangled Banner" in your shower every morning? Have you ever wanted to sing in front of a large group? Well, Saturday, March 29th is your day to shine because the Connecticut Defenders will be hosting a live open try-out for National Anthem singers for the 2008 season at Crystal Mall.
Come and join on-field host Johnny Gill, Director of Community Relations and Promotions Jessica Schineller and Entertainment/Event Specialist for Q105.5 FM Jackie Steele as they judge auditions at the Crystal Mall from 11am until 3pm.
Participants will receive two free tickets to Opening Day on April 3rd just for trying out. Seating will be available to anyone who wants to watch the numerous hopefuls.
"This is not American Idol, so no one will get their feelings hurt, no need to follow-up with us, we will call the best singers for dates to sing," commented Johnny Gill.
