Promotional Schedule Announced
Comcast Arena at Everett will once again be the site of exciting giveaways and celebrations, as Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert confirmed the club's promotional schedule on Thursday. Seventeen of the team's 36 home games feature a celebration or promotion, while the team will once again feature five bobblehead giveaways.
The bobbleheads, sponsored by Abbey Carpet, were chosen earlier this summer by fans' online voting. The first bobblehead night will feature the likeness of Shayne Barrie and will be given away on Tuesday, October 28th against Tri-City. Other bobblehead nights include Wednesday, November 19th vs Portland (Dan Gendur), Tuesday, December 9th vs Calgary (Zack Dailey), Wednesday, January 28th vs Spokane (Jonathan Harty), and Wednesday, February 11th vs Spokane (Kyle Beach). The bobbleheads will be given away to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
Everett will also be honoring its former first round draft picks with three Friday night player magnet giveaways, all sponsored by Pratt Pest Management. Circle the October 17th game against Kelowna (Zach Hamill player magnet), the November 21st game against Portland (Leland Irving), and the January 9th game against Prince George (Peter Mueller) to receive your limited edition player magnet.
For the first time in club history, the Silvertips are proud to present Lincoln Snow Globe Night courtesy of Everett Mall, held on Friday, December 12th against Medicine Hat. In what will prove to be a highly sought after keepsake, this snow globe night will ring in the holiday season with the likeness of one of the WHL's most popular mascots.
The 'Tips will also be hosting several holiday celebrations, starting with the Safe Trick or Treat Night with the 'Tips during the Halloween game against Spokane on Friday, October 31st, as well as the New Year's Eve Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 31st against Red Deer.
As always, promotions are subject to change. Please refer to everettsilvertips.com for the most up-to-date scheduling information as well as the complete promotional schedule.
