Silvers to Start; Team Goals Still Top Priority

Seattle Sea Dragons News Release
SEATTLE - Coach Jim Zorn may have announced a starting quarterback, but even in doing so he's being careful to not let individual position competitions pull focus from team objectives.
Brandon Silvers will start, according to an update Zorn gave to the Seattle Times.
Tuesday at Memorial Stadium, Silvers and BJ Daniels continued to split snaps as the Dragons' only two quarterbacks on the roster.
Zorn isn't in a rush to reveal other starters yet, with the opening game at DC still 11 days away (Feb. 8, 11 a.m. PT, ABC).
The team continues to work on special teams daily, especially because the XFL rules for kickoffs and punts encourage returns, and vary from rules the players have previously experienced in in their career.
"There's certain aspects about special teams in this game that are going to look different to the fan ... it's going to be an important play for field position. We have to play it right." Jim Zorn
The Dragons practice again at Memorial Stadium on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. PT.
