Former Sea Dragon Austin Faoliu Activated by Seattle Seahawks

ARLINGTON, Texas - Former Seattle Sea Dragons nose tackle Austin Faoliu has been activated by the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.
Faoliu, 24, originally signed with Seahawks on May 16, 2023. He began the season on the reserve/PUP list while recovering from knee surgery he underwent following the conclusion of the XFL season.
He appeared in 10 games (all starts) with the Sea Dragons last season, tallying 24 tackles and one sack, while earning All-XFL honors for 2023. He was selected 31st overall by the Seattle Sea Dragons in the 2023 XFL Draft.
Faoliu, a southern California native, played at Oregon and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys on May 14, 2021. He played in one game for the Cowboys, tallying two tackles in 13 snaps of a Dallas win over Carolina on Oct. 3, 2021.
